From the airport to the theater
– Hello, I arrived at the airport 10 minutes ago
– Hello, your hotel is very close to the airport.
– Yes, I know. But I would like to go to the theater. My daughter has a play there. Could you, please, tell me how to get to the theater.
– Yes, sure. The airport is on King and Queen Way. Go straight on it and turn right on Warwick Road. Then turn right again on Fifteenth Boulevard.
– Thank you very much

Dialogue 2
From Mirabelle Park to the shop
– Where were you today, Amy.
– I was with my boyfriend in Mirabelle Park.
– Where did you buy this raspberries from. They are great and delicious.
– From the corner between Wesley Avenue and the Library we went straight on to the University. Then we turned left on Fifteenth Boulevard. Then on the corner between Fifteenth Boulevard and Warwick Road we turned right. There is a bus station. Then we crossed the zebra and there is the shop.

Dialogue 3
From the museum to the Fountain
– Hello, John. Do you know where the fountain of  Freedom is?
– Yes, of course. My father works in the pharmacy near it.
– Great. Do you know how I can get to it from the museum.
– Yes, there are three ways to go there. First- you can get bus number 143 from Wesley Avenue. When the bus turns left on Park Drive, there is a church. Then you can go straight to the school and turn left. When you turn left, there is a zebra. Cross the bridge, and there is the Fountain of Freedom. The second way is with  bus number 606 . It goes to the University. The bus station is in front of my father’s pharmacy on Vincent Street. Go to the corner between Vincent Street and Fifteenth Boulevard. Go straight and turn right at the zebra. Then cross the bridge. There is the fountain. The third way is with bus number 20. Its last station is in front of the cinema. And the fountain is behind the cinema.

From the beach to the church
– Hi, Rose. I’m on the beach
-Hi. That’s great. We are in the restaurant close to the beach. Would you like to come?
– Yes, sure. Is the restaurant on South Drive
– Yes, it’s at 55 South Drive
After 15 min
-Hello, Ann
– How are you, Rose
– I’m fine. How are you, Ann.
– Great. The weather is lovely today.
– Would you like to come with us to church
– Yes, I would love that. Is there a church near us?
– Yes. When you cross Canal Road, you turn right on Fifteenth Boulevard. There is a school,
then you cross the zebra , turn left on the school road. Then we go to the corner of School road and Park Drive.

Dialogue 5
-I was in the library today. I read a very interesting book, then Tomas came. We went out of the Library and turned right, then we turned right again on 24th Path. We went to the corner of 24th Path and Park drive and we turned right. We went straight on to the bank. When Tomas finished we went to the Bookstore. It’s on the corner of Wesley Avenue and Park Drive and there is the church.

Dialogue 6
– I really don’t like the way to Jacky`s school.
– Are you together now?
-Yes, Mary. We are. Where are you?
-I’m at the bakery and I’m going to the beach to get Diana. Could you please come and get us.
– Oh, let me think of the way to the bakery. So, first I turn right on the corner of Park Drive and Wesley Avenue. Then I turn right again in the intersection of Wesley Avenue and Vincent Street. And I drive straight on to the slowest traffic lights in  town. I always wait 5 minutes before I turn left and when I reach the Warwick Road I turn right.
– Oh, honey. You can’t use this way.
-Why?
There is a traffic sign which forbids the passing through King and Queen Way.
-Oh, I see. Well, you go straight on Vincent Street to the bakery and then I turn right on South Drive to the Underground Station.
– All right, my love. See you there
-See you


2.Present Continuous/ Сегашно продължително време

2.1 Използваме сегашно продължително време за действия, които се извършват в момента на говоренето. Думи, които често се използват с това време са : now- сега, at the moment-в момента. За създаването на изречения от сегашно продължително време се нуждаем от 2 основни елемента : глагола BE + ING . Вече знаете ,че формите на глагола BE се менят според лицето ( вършителя ) – IS AM ARE

I am going to the shop. Отивам до магазина
I am reading the newspaper. Чета вестник
You are sending an email Изпращаш имейл
Poli is running . Поли бяга
Ivan is playing tennis . Иван играе тенис

2.2 Отрицателни изречения
За сформирането на отрицателните изречения използваме частицата „ not “ след глагола BE .
am not ; is not ; are not
Съкратените форми ( isn`t , aren’t ) се предпочитат в разговорния език.

2.3 Въпросителни изречения
Въпросителните изречения се образуват с инверсия, първо е спомагателният глагол be, втори е подлогът ( вършителят) и след него е глагола с -ing форма. Тези въпроси се задават за действия, които се извършват в момента. Ако питаме дали родителите на Томи плуват в момента, използваме сегашно продължително време. Ако искаме да разберем дали родителите на Томи плуват, но не в момента използваме сегашно просто.

The City of Washington (North Carolina) is governed by a Council form of government. The elected City Council hires a City Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of municipal services and government.The mayor and all five members of the Washington City Council are elected  by the citizens of Washington in November of odd-numbered years. All serve two-year terms. Washington City Council meets regularly on the second and fourth Monday of the month in the City Council Chambers, Room 214, Municipal Building, 102 E. Second Street. Meetings usually start at 5:30 p.m. Public hearings at regular meetings usually are scheduled for 6 p.m.
